- Ukulele Sing-a-Long Etiquette
- Try to be on time. If you are late, wait at the door and come in between songs.
- Be sure that your ukulele is in tune.
- Be sure your cell phone ringer is turned off.
- Have your song selection made before your turn.
- Announce the name of your song and the page number it is on. The appointed leader will then give instructions, and count it in at the correct tempo. If you prefer to lead the song yourself, state so at the beginning.
- If you would like to say something about the song or the artist, be brief.
- Unless there is an emergency, there should be no talking - for any reason - during a song.
- There should be no noodling/strumming/picking between songs.
- If you would like to bring a new song to the group, please send an email with the song sheet attached and a Youtube version of the song or bring it on your cell phone or iPod. Additionally, bring 15 pre-printed copies already with three hole punches.
- Always be complimentary of others song selections and their playing/singing abilities.
